Bikelights 2017

14th October 2017

On Saturday evening the streets of Wadebridge were filled with a fantastic parade of over a thousand bikes. This is the second year that our school has taken part and this year we worked with Reg Payne to create a shimmering white butterfly bike.  Many thanks to Ian Alexander for piloting it so ably through the streets and to the pupils who rode their own bikes in support.
Reg came in to school to help us design and make our bike. We had to construct different frames, attach them to the bike, connect the lights and cover the frame with paper. It was great fun!
As the light faded on Satuday night we gathered in Wadebridge and paraded through the town. It was really cool!
